Lady Dragons rout DuBois 59-10, improve to 9-2
Warren’s girls basketball team outscored DuBois 21-0 in the first quarter en route to a 59-10 non-region win on Saturday at Warren Area High School.
Riley Childress connected on four 3-pointers and had 14 points in the quarter, and teammate Gracie Ruhlman added a ‘3’ for good measure.
Childress finished with 23 points and Emma Ruhlman 16 points and 12 rebounds in Warren’s third-straight win.
“We’re playing well together,” said Warren coach Lisa LaVan, whose Dragons are 9-2 overall and have outscored opponents 109-19 in its last two games. “Doing the little things well, but still room for improvement.”
