JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Batavia Muckdogs led 6-0 after batting twice and then scored the final nine runs of the game en route to a 15-2 victory over the Jamestown Tarp Skunks in six innings of Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League action Thursday evening at Diethrick Park.

The Muckdogs scored their first six runs on four hits, three walks and a hit batter. The key hits were a two-run double by Anthony Greco in the first inning and a two-run single by Cooper Romich in the second inning.

Jamestown got on the board in the second inning with a Nigel Sebastianelli (Niagara County Community College) RBI single to score Steven Scarfone. In the third, Bobby Stang (University of Dayton) singled and later scored on an RBI single by Shaniel Maldonado (Mercer CC).

But the Tarp Skunks’ offense ran dry from there and Sam Hough (Bates College) suffered the loss. The right-hander went 3 2/3 innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and four walks while striking out two.

Batavia added four runs in the fifth off Griffin White (Wagner College) and three more in the sixth off Austin Kalsek (Grand Canyon University).
