ERIE — Warren’s volleyball team is 10-0 overall and 7-0 in Region 5 after a sweep on Monday at McDowell. Meanwhile, head coach Mike Dolan is 200-99 for his 18-year career (and counting) and not accepting credit.

“A lot of wonderful athletes, coaches and families made that first number happen,” said Dolan.

“This was a good region win to start the second half of league play,” said Dolan of Tuesday’s 25-18, 25-10, 25-12 win. “Maddy Jones, Paiden Johnson, and Lindsay Madigan had nice serving runs. Sophie Walker played well in the back row.”

Jones finished with 11 kills, nine digs and five aces; Madigan 26 assists, five aces and eight digs; Walker nine digs; and Johnson three aces and four digs.

In the win, Madelyn Nosel added nine kills and four digs; Malysia Sorensen 21 digs; Lilly Newton three kills; and Attie Corey three kills and two blocks.

In Warren’s 25-12, 26-24 junior varsity win, Brooke Sherry had nine kills; Johnson nine digs; Brynn Norris 11 assists; Peyton Cabisca three kills; Hailey Cabisca three kills; Lara Pearson two kills; and Michaela Dolan four aces and four assists.
