Kinzua Soccer Club’s U13 coed team traveled to Plum recently to compete in the Kick-Off Classic Tournament. The team competed with some strong teams from the Pittsburgh area and went undefeated. Kinzua won the championship game against the Hampton Talbots 1-0. Josie Elms scored the lone goal for Kinzua and Jackson Warner kept a clean sheet in the net. Kinzua’s defense kept the ball in the other end of the field for most of the tournament, allowing just three goals in four games. Josie Elms led the attack with six goals on the weekend and Keira Cressley added two. Karsen Frederes and James Alexander also scored for Kinzua.
