The all-region teams and golfer of the year are based on the scoring averages in each region.

Zaffino finished fourth overall with a two-day 163 at the District 10 3A Tournament at The Country Club of Meadville. Meadville had the top three finishers, but only the top two advanced to states at the Penn State White Course in State College. Named the Region 6 Golfer of the Year, Luke Ferry shot a two-day 151 to win the D10 3A title by five strokes, and Meadville teammate Patrick Mahoney — also first-team all-Region 6 — was second at 156.

Zaffino finished fourth individually in the all-Class 3A Region 6 regular-season matches with an 18-hole 80.25 average.

The top 15 golfers in the region by score automatically qualified for districts, including Olsen, a second-team all-star with an 83.25 average (good for eighth in the region during the regular season).

Ellis’ 18-hole 82 in the final region match vaulted him into 13th place for an automatic D10 berth. He also qualified for the all-Region 6 second team.

“Conner worked extremely hard this season and I am so proud of how he handled the pressure of being the top guy on the team,” said Warren coach Nate Sandberg. “He is very deserving of this honor.

“Reid did not get the results he wanted to this season, but he hung in there and was a major contributor to the team,” added Sandberg.

“Collin very much deserved the ‘most improved player’ award on the team for his performance and contributions to the team,” said the head coach. “His hard work certainly paid off.

“These three seniors will be greatly missed, but I am confident they passed on their work ethic and dedication to the underclassmen to set up a successful 2025 season,” said Sandberg.
