Warren JV wrestling

The following Warren wrestlers participated in the Eisenhower JV Tournament recently:

Freshman Cole Fitzgerald finished third at 107 pounds; freshman Aidan Sweet second at 114; freshman Andrew Knapp did not place at 127; freshman Shawn Lang was third at 127; freshman Timmy Giger finished first at 139 and names tournament Outstanding Wrestler; freshman Cameron Hagg third at 133; freshman Justin Krall third at separate 133 pool; freshman KC Nelson third at 145; sophomore Carter Campbell second at 152; junior Ryan Letko third at 152; sophomore Colby Zinger second at 160; junior Sebastian Oyola first at 172; and sophomore Tyson Harkins second at 285.

“It was nice to get these athletes some mat time, Sebastian going 5-0 and taking first, and Timmy going 5-0, taking first and receiving OW,” said Warren coach Glenn Baldensperger. “It was nice to see for a couple of guys that put extra time in the offseason paying dividends for them; weird how that works.”
