ROCKY GROVE — The Youngsville Lady Eagles held a two-point lead at halftime, but the Rocky Grove Orioles responded with a big third quarter during a 39-20 victory Monday at Rocky Grove High School.

After trailing 12-10 at the break, the Orioles came out of the locker room with a vengeance, scoring 20 points to Youngsville’s four in the decisive third quarter.

Prior to that, the Eagles put together their best half of the young season getting six points from Riley Robinault, four more from Kaylee Lauffenburger and another bucket from Natalie Ross to take the lead into intermission.

Youngsville’s offense cooled after the break and the Lady Eagles will continue their search for the season’s first win on Wednesday when they host North Clarion.

Robinault led the Eagles with eight points, Lauffenburger finished with six and Ross, Kennedy Allen and Haley Kent also scored in the loss.
