Lady Knights suffer road loss

The Lady Knights traveled to Seneca and dropped a Region 3 game 71-55.

Eisenhower began the game looking for its shooting touch as the ball just wouldn’t drop for them and Seneca opened up a 16-7 first quarter lead and never looked back.

The Lady Knights, behind Tracey Jakubczak’s 6 points in the second quarter, cut the lead to 22-17 but could not get any closer as the Bobcats went on a 8-0 run to open up a 35-20 halftime lead.

In the second half, Eisenhower’s shots began to drop as the Bobcats only outscored the Lady Knights by a single point but the lead turned out to be too much and Eisenhower eventually lost 71-55.

Clara Steinberg led Eisenhower with 23 points, teammate Lainey Font had another nice game with 15 points.

The Lady Knights saw their record drop to 3-1 on the season. They play Mercyhurst Prep at home Friday night, tip off is set for 7.

Starting at $2.99/week.
