Steinberg pours in 30
ERIE — The Eisenhower Knights had their way with the Eagles of Youngsville in the opening game of the Iroquois Christmas Tournament on Friday, defeating their county rival 60-15.
Knights junior Clara Steinberg continued her march toward the coveted 1,000-point mark as she dropped 30 points, including six 3-pointers in the game. Teammate Lainey Font had another hot shooting night herself as she connected for 19 points.
Riley Robinault led Youngsville with 11 points.
Eisenhower will play Rocky Grove in the championship game today at noon at Iroquois High School.
