Titusville tops Sheffield Saturday
TITUSVILLE — Holland Fratus’s 24 points helped Titusville’s boys basketball team to a 52-43 cross-district win over Sheffield on Saturday at Titusville Area High School.
It was a season-high for Fratus and also for the Rockets, who improved to 2-7 overall and snapped a four-game losing streak.
The first of Fratus’s four 3-pointers came in a 14-6 Titusville first quarter.
Sheffield’s Nakes Holsey scored 16 of his game-high 25 points in the second half while the Wolverines were playing catch-up. Colby Barr added 7 points and Andrew Kyler and Aamond Bowman 4 apiece for Sheffield (0-5).
