UNION CITY — Union City led 12-6 after the first quarter and beat Eisenhower 52-38 in Region 3 girls basketball Monday.

Union City, which was led by Cheyenne Cummings’ 19 points and Ava Grace’s 18 points, led 40-18 at halftime.

The Knights were led by Clara Steinberg’s 17 points.

Eisenhower is back in action Thursday when it hosts a “Hoops for Hope” pink-out game against Northeast. The Knights will be raising funds to help out a family member of a girl in their basketball program.
