RUSSELL — Eisenhower’s girls softball team is still in search of its first win after falling to Lakeview 15-0 at Werner Park on Tuesday.
The Sailors took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning before scoring 10 runs in the second inning,
A four-run third inning ended the game at 15-0
Sophomore Abbie Darr walked three and struck out two for the Knights. Kendra Danielson had their lone hit.
“I am proud of our effort tonight,” Eisenhower head coach Rich Pascuzzi said. “We have talent, but we have moments where we lose focus. These girls have a great attitude and support each other. We will continue to work hard on the fundamentals.”
The Knights return to action Thursday when they travel to Titusville for a 4 p.m. first pitch.
