Jaxon Thrift and Owen Baldensperger defeated Jacob Wi and Mark Klan, 6-1, 6-0.
“This was a great team win and showed the depth of our lineup,” said Warren coach Thomas Pellegrino. “The boys continue to improve each match and are really starting to come together and play as a team, which is exactly what we need going into this week.”
The Dragons have a packed schedule this week, taking on three of the district’s best programs in McDowell, Cathedral Prep, and Fairview.
“We know each of these match-ups will be a battle and we plan on taking them one match at a time,” added Pellegrino.
Warren kicks off the week today by traveling to Erie to take on the McDowell Trojans in a Class 3A Region 2 showdown. The winner of this match will be in the driver’s seat of D10 3A.
